The large reusable bowl (salad bowl type) is part of the Kio by Re-uz ® range of designer, durable plastic tableware. The entire range is available in several modular, eco-designed formats. All containers are modular: they can be nested and stacked for easy storage. Containers and lids can be nested.
The large Kio by Re-uz ® bowl is made in our own workshops. By combining short distribution channels and eco-design, the proximity of production helps reduce everyone’s carbon footprint.
The large Kio by Re-uz ® bowl is like a salad bowl that can be closed with a lid. Resolutely sober and modern, its large capacity is a real asset in terms of mobility (thanks to its lid) while enhancing the dishes served (large prepared salads, dishes in sauce, pasta, etc.).
The Kio by Re-uz ® large bowl will appeal to restaurateurs and caterers with its shape: 17.72 cm sides, 9.79 cm height and 158 cl capacity. This large format is ideal for large dishes and side dishes.
This reusable salad bowl has transparent flared sides. Its ergonomic shape makes it stackable with other bowls. The bottom of the container is flat: 8.60 cm square. This flat surface gives it great stability. 4 small 2 mm feet raise the container. 6 centimetres separate them in width and length. Spacing is similar to that of most other containers in the range. This design offers great modularity in terms of container installation.
The square lid of the Kio by Re-uz ® large bowl is identical to two other tableware formats: thesquare dinner plate and the square medium bowl. This cover has small holes spaced at the same dimensions as the feet.
Once the lids are closed, the containers can be stacked on top of each other: the feet and lugs of the lids fit perfectly into each other for extreme stability (in the kitchen or on displays, as well as during transport).
The large Kio by Re-uz ® bowls can be stacked. They can therefore be easily stored. In the kitchen, they take up very little space on the worktop. In-store, facing customers, their contemporary shapes enhance the dishes on display.
These large bowls are unbreakable. Back in the kitchen, they can be arranged in bulk without the risk of chipping: a real convenience in handling.
Bowls and their contents can be stored in a refrigerated cabinet or in the freezer. The associated lid then becomes a real asset for preserving dishes.
The salad bowls can be placed in the microwave or kept in a hot oven at up to 80°C.

Thermo-molded in one piece, the thickness of their walls makes them extremely rigid, with good resistance to impact and heat.

Kio Box by Re-uz ® is a community of committed restaurateurs. Within this community, the deposit/guarantee system has been extended to the entire network. Containers are returnable for reuse. The crockery is moved around by the customers who use it, and is reintegrated into the community. How does this community work?
The Kio Box community is made up of various takeaway food chains belonging to the network. Each store makes and sells takeaway meals. The containers used are consigned to your store AND to the community. Container deposits are widespread. The device is illustrated as follows…
All Kio crockery is easy to transport thanks to ergonomic lids. These are “nomadic” dishes. Containers (plates, bowls, trays, containers…) are eco-designed, durable and unbreakable. Their use and reuse can be intensive. The containers are both sturdy and lightweight.
The principle of reuse is at the heart of the system. It is widely used in the community to limit single use… and therefore waste (plastic or paper). After use, your customers will return the used containers to recover the deposit initially paid. Thanks to the community, you can activate a real loyalty lever.
Kio Box by Re-uz ® large salad bowls are designed to be mobile and portable. Their ergonomic lids make them easy to close for transport. When purchasing a dish (takeaway or home delivery), the customer deposits a deposit for each container used. You will keep this deposit until the dish(s) is/are returned to you.
Your customer will then drop off the empty, pre-washed containers. You will then return the deposit he entrusted to you.
Your customers can return the containers to your establishment… Or they can choose to return the used containers to a retailer who is part of the community. The partner belonging to the same network will then refund the deposit. The returnable container can then be reused. For your part, you keep the initial deposit: this is a general rule in the community.
The unreturned deposit will be retained by you, and your stock will be reduced by a small bowl. In this way, the container will have traveled from point A to point B within the network: it will not be lost. No containers will have been thrown away in nature: they will only have been transferred via a shared deposit system.
The community functions as a closed circuit. Only network members will benefit from the shared reuse of containers. This scheme combines mobility and eco-responsibility… within a growing network.
To join the Kio Box community, all you have to do is complete your application on the site. This information will enable the Re-uz ® teams to help you with your application and to explain how the system works.
A subscription allows you to be recognized as a community partner. You’ll benefit from communication elements to display on your storefront and in your store.
You can then place your first order for Kio reusable containers. These will be forwarded to you by our teams.
Your stock of containers and bond volumes may fluctuate. If your stock of containers is dwindling, this means that you have a large number of unreturned deposits. You can use the amount of these unrecovered deposits to order other Kio Box by Re-uz ® bowls or dishes, thus adding to your stock.
If, on the other hand, you have too many bowls in your establishment, Re-uz ® will take them back at the price of their deposit. In this way, the operation is neutral for each partner.
Re-uz ® offers a range of lid colors. Kio Box containers are identified by their color. Community members have a dedicated color.
