Our approach: combine practical, ecological and sustainable to make reuse obvious.
The small reusable elongated plate is part of the Kio by Re-uz ® range of designer and sustainable plastic tableware. It is available in several modular, eco-designed formats. All containers fit together for easy storage.
The Kio by Re-uz ® small rectangular plate is manufactured in our workshops: a short circuit that enables Re-uz ® to reduce its carbon footprint and that of its customers.
The Kio by Re-uz ® small plate is rectangular. Sober and modern, this plate enhances every dish served: appetizers, entremets, tarts or hors-d’oeuvres.
The Kio by Re-uz ® small plate will appeal to restaurateurs and caterers alike thanks to its shape: 23.72 cm long and 11.52 cm wide. It features a small 2.50 cm rim. Lightweight, weighing just 120 grams. This format is ideal for presenting sushi, charcuterie or cheese.
This small, elongated plate features slightly curved edges. The bottom of the container is flat: 21 cm x 8.60 cm (similar to the bottom of the Kio by Re-uz ® rectangular soup plate ). This flat surface gives it great stability. 4 small 2 mm feet raise the plate. 6 centimetres separate them in width, 18 centimetres in length.
The lid associated with this Kio by Re-uz ® tray features small holes spaced at the same dimensions as the feet. In this way, even when the lids are closed, the containers can be stacked on top of each other: the feet of the upper container fit into the lugs of the lower lid. Stacked, their stability is extreme
The lid is identical to that of the Kio by Re-uz ® elongated soup plate: a single lid for 2 stackable containers.
Superimposed and interlocked, movements are simplified at the peak of service: outstanding stability for greater responsiveness.
Like all standard plates, these are stackable.
Kio by Re-uz ® dinner plates are made from food-grade thermoplastic polymer (ABS). This single-material design makes them fully recyclable.
Thermo-molded in one piece, the thickness of their walls makes them extremely rigid and shock-resistant.
Kio by Re-uz ® elongated dinner plates can be stacked. They can be easily stored and arranged in the kitchen or displayed on shelves and displays They can also be arranged in bulk when returned to the kitchen without risk of breakage. Cold- and freeze-tolerant, they can be placed in a refrigerated cabinet or in the freezer. The associated lid then becomes a real asset for preserving dishes.
Plates can be placed in the microwave or kept in a hot oven at up to 80°C.
Limit your impact on the environment: Kio by Re-uz ® reusable plates are a simple replacement for single-use disposable plates. Restaurateurs, caterers, associations, trade show organizers, festivals: they can be used by all those involved in events and takeaways.
The reuse approach inherent in the use and reuse of containers is virtuous and inexpensive. It will then be possible to limit the hidden costs associated with consumables, such as the repetitive purchase of disposable containers or the collection of waste generated by your activity.
Kio Box by Re-uz ® is a community of committed restaurateurs in which deposits are widespread. Containers are returnable. They move around the network as customers use them. How does this network work?
The Kio Box community is a force to be reckoned with. It brings together a number of the network’s member brands. Each of them offers takeawaymeals. The containers used are returned to your retailer, but also to the community: the deposit system is widespread there. It is illustrated as follows…
Thanks to ergonomic lids adapted to each container, the entire Kio range is easy to transport. Every plate, bowl, tray and container is eco-designed, durable and unbreakable. Their use can be intensive (and must be if their re-use is to be virtuous).
Widespread reuse is above all a way of limiting single use. Within the community, this is an undeniable loyalty-building lever. After use, your customers will return the used containers to recover the deposit initially paid.
Kio Box by Re-uz ® plates are designed to be portable and easy to carry thanks to their lids. When your customer purchases a dish (takeaway or home delivery), a deposit is required for the use of the container. You will keep this deposit until the dish(s) is/are returned to you.
Your customer can then return the empty, pre-washed container. You will then return the deposit he entrusted to you.
Your customer can return the containers to your store… or to another store in the community. The partner will then return the deposit and the returnable container. For your part, you keep the deposit you initially entrusted to us.
With this system, you will logically have one less plate in your stock … but the deposit not returned will be kept by you. In short, the plate will have travelled from point A to point B within the network, and no container will have filled the garbage can or been thrown away.
The use of reusable containers operates as a closed circuit within the Kio Box community. Only members of the network will benefit from the shared reuse of containers. This scheme combines mobility and eco-responsibility… within a growing network.
To become part of the Kio Box community, complete your application on the site. The Re-uz ® teams will provide you with just a few details to help you get started and explain the system in detail.
Membership of the Kio Box community is by subscription. This subscription will enable you to be recognized as a community partner.
You’ll receive a communication kit to display on your storefront, as well as communication materials to present to your customers.
You can then place your first order for Kio reusable containers. Our teams will then transport the containers to your facility.
If your stock of containers dwindles after an initial period of use, this means that you have a large number of unreturned deposits. You can use this volume of unrecovered deposits to order new Kio Box by Re-uz ® plates and dishes.
If, on the other hand, you have too many plates in stock, Re-uz ® will take them back at the price of their deposit. In this way, the operation is neutral for each partner.
Kio Box containers are identified by the color of their lids. Takeaway sales require the use of these lids. Only members of the community have access to this color of lid. It is different for purchased and leased containers.
